Field Recording
Field recording is one of the many aspects of filmmaking that I enjoy practising. Recording sounds yourself can add an extra layer of authenticity to your projects. Personally, I find it a rewarding practice; discovering interesting sounds in the city or nature is both relaxing and challenging. I incorporate these location recordings into both my own film projects and commissioned work.

Coast of Steel is an audiovisual journey that delves deep into the heart of the IJmond region, home to Tata Steel, one of the largest steelworks in Europe. A cinematic look at a monumental industrial development from the 20th century and contemporary life in its surroundings. The film is part of a long-term project combining film and photographic work.
