Every film begins with a clear idea of what needs to be said and how it should be told. Together, we define the key message, shape the story and determine who will contribute to the film.

For interview-based films, we carefully consider both the visual approach and the interview setting. Whether the film follows a documentary-style format or a more structured narrative, the goal is always the same: to create authentic and engaging conversations that feel natural on screen.

Locations are selected for both their relevance to the story and their visual character. We also pay close attention to sound, ensuring recordings are clear and unobtrusive.

Cinematography & Visual Concept

Each project starts with a visual concept. Through conversations, references and mood boards, we establish the visual language of the film and develop an approach that supports the story.

From carefully crafted interviews to atmospheric supporting footage, every image serves a purpose within the narrative. The choice of camera movement, framing and lighting depends on the needs of the project, always aiming for a cinematic and timeless result.

The focus is not on techniques for their own sake, but on creating images that strengthen the story and leave a lasting impression.

Script & Interviews

Elke film begint met een helder idee van wat er verteld moet worden en hoe dat het beste kan worden overgebracht. Samen bepalen we de kern van het verhaal en wie daaraan bijdraagt.

Bij films waarin interviews een belangrijke rol spelen, besteden we veel aandacht aan zowel de visuele aanpak als de setting. Of het nu gaat om een documentaire stijl of een meer gestructureerde vorm, het doel blijft hetzelfde: authentieke gesprekken creëren die natuurlijk aanvoelen op beeld.

Locaties worden gekozen op basis van hun relevantie voor het verhaal én hun visuele karakter. Ook besteden we veel aandacht aan geluid, zodat opnames helder en onopvallend kunnen worden vastgelegd.

Cinematografie & Visueel Concept

Elk project begint met een visueel concept. Aan de hand van gesprekken, referenties en moodboards ontwikkelen we een beeldtaal die past bij het verhaal en de doelstelling van de film.

Van zorgvuldig vormgegeven interviews tot sfeervolle aanvullende beelden: elk shot heeft een functie binnen het geheel. De keuze voor cameravoering, compositie en licht wordt afgestemd op de behoeften van het project, met als doel een cinematografisch en tijdloos resultaat.

De techniek staat altijd in dienst van het verhaal, nooit andersom.
