G&S& · Brand Film

  • Brandfilm geproduceerd voor G&S&, een vooruitstrevende vastgoedontwikkelaar uit Nederland. Het concept en de creatieve richting zijn ontwikkeld in samenwerking met The Stone Twins, een creatief bureau uit Amsterdam. De opnames omvatten zowel dronebeelden als portretten van medewerkers en scènes op de werkvloer, gefilmd op locatie aan de Zuidas en de NDSM-werf in Amsterdam. Eén van de projecten die in de film wordt belicht, is de bouw van Wonderwoods in Utrecht — een iconisch, groen stadsproject. De film fungeert als centrale corporate video op de homepage van G&S& en zet de toon voor hun bedrijfsidentiteit.

  • Brand film produced for G&S&, an innovative real estate developer based in the Netherlands. The concept and creative direction were developed in collaboration with The Stone Twins, a creative agency based in Amsterdam. The film features a mix of drone footage, employee portraits, and workplace scenes shot on location at the Zuidas and the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam, highlighting the scale, architecture, and company culture. One of the projects showcased in the film is the construction of Wonderwoods in Utrecht — an iconic, green urban development. The film serves as the central corporate video on the G&S& homepage and sets the tone for the company’s identity.

The Cubehouse · Short Film Series

  • Deze korte film vormt het begin van een serie over The CubeHouse — een vooruitstrevend houten kantoorgebouw dat momenteel in Amsterdam wordt gerealiseerd. We volgen het verhaal vanaf de oorsprong: tussen de bomen, in de WIEHAG-fabriek in Oostenrijk, en op de bouwplaats in Amsterdam, waar de werkzaamheden zich in een vroeg bouwstadium bevinden. De film geeft een blik achter de schermen van een ambitieus duurzaam bouwproject. Deze productie is tot stand gekomen in opdracht van vastgoedontwikkelaar G&S&. De serie wordt gemaakt in samenwerking met mijn collega Kim Hutjens, die verantwoordelijk is voor regie en montage.

  • This short film marks the beginning of a series about The CubeHouse — an innovative timber office building currently under construction in Amsterdam. The story begins at the source: in the forests, inside the WIEHAG factory in Austria, and on location in Amsterdam, where the project is taking shape in its early construction phase. The film offers a behind-the-scenes look at an ambitious and sustainable building project. This production is commissioned by real estate developer G&S&. The series is being created in collaboration with my colleague Kim Hutjens, who is responsible for directing and editing.

  • Korte film over het werk en de werkwijze van Bas Losekoot, fotograaf, bekend om zijn onderzoek naar stedelijke isolatie en publieke ruimte. Het project werd in opdracht van Museum MORE gerealiseerd als onderdeel van een tentoonstelling. De opnames vonden plaats in Amsterdam en Londen, twee centrale steden in Losekoots langlopende serie.

  • A short film about the work and artistic process of Bas Losekoot, a visual artist and photographer known for his explorations of urban isolation and public space. The project was commissioned by Museum MORE to accompany an exhibition of his work. Filming took place in both Amsterdam and London, two key cities featured in Losekoot’s long-term series.

Pepijn Hooimeijer · Puur Straat

  • Puur Straat is een korte film, geproduceerd voor en over één van mijn favoriete straatfotografen, Pepijn Hooimeijer. Alle getoonde foto’s zijn door Pepijn gemaakt op 28-09-2024, tijdens de opnames van deze film.

    Straatfotografie is een veel beoefende vorm van fotografie; het is toegankelijk en iedereen met een camera kan de straat op. Maar echt goed werk produceren op straat is bijzonder lastig. Pepijn is één van die zeldzame fotografen die hierin uitblinkt, door zijn unieke visie te combineren met een natuurlijk talent. Hoewel bescheiden van aard, is hij een onverschrokken fotograaf met het hart en de ziel van een kunstenaar.

  • Puur Straat is a short film produced for and about one of my favourite street photographers, Pepijn Hooimeijer. All photographs shown were taken by Pepijn on 28 September 2024, during the filming of this project.

    Street photography is a widely practiced genre — it's accessible, and anyone with a camera can hit the streets. But producing truly strong work in this setting is exceptionally difficult. Pepijn is one of those rare photographers who excels at it, combining a unique vision with natural talent. Modest by nature, he is a fearless image-maker with the heart and soul of an artist.

  • Compilatie van filmwerk voor een promotiefilm over de ontwikkeling van Strandeiland, een nieuw woongebied in aanbouw bij IJburg in Amsterdam. Camerawerk, drone-opnames en colour grading zijn uitgevoerd in opdracht van Jetway Branding Agency. De onderstaande video is een eigen montage, samengesteld uit het aangeleverde materiaal en gemonteerd op zelfgeproduceerde muziek.

Waterloo House

  • Filmopnames in Amsterdam voor de promotie van Waterloo House, een gebouw aan de Jodenbreestraat dat wordt herontwikkeld. Camerawerk en colour grading zijn uitgevoerd in opdracht van Jetway Branding Agency. De beelden zijn geleverd voor diverse promotie-uitingen rondom Waterloo House. Onderstaande reel is een eigen montage met een selectie uit het opgeleverde materiaal, gemonteerd op zelfgeproduceerde muziek.

  • Serie literaire interviewfilms en auteursportretten, geproduceerd in opdracht van het Nederlands Letterenfonds. De serie toont toonaangevende stemmen uit de Nederlandse literatuur, waaronder Frank Westerman, Hanna Bervoets, Arnon Grunberg, Marian Donner, Ewout Kieft, Annet Schaap, Anna Woltz, Cees Nooteboom, Niña Weijers, Adriaan van Dis, Lisa Weeda, Saskia Goldschmidt en anderen. Elke film biedt een persoonlijke inkijk in het schrijverschap — in beeld, stem en stijl. De serie is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met schrijver en literair criticus Margot Dijkgraaf.

The series features leading voices from Dutch literature, including Frank Westerman, Hanna Bervoets, Arnon Grunberg, Marian Donner, Ewout Kieft, Annet Schaap, Anna Woltz, Cees Nooteboom, Niña Weijers, Adriaan van Dis, Lisa Weeda, Saskia Goldschmidt, and others. Each film offers a personal glimpse into the craft of writing — through image, voice, and tone. The series was developed in collaboration with writer and literary critic Margot Dijkgraaf.
